machining centers incorporate one single handling of long bar stock rather than the
repeated handling of a great number of short pieces.
This involves the
precise feeding of extrusion or bar stock into a machining compartment where multiple
independent programmable machining units machine the extrusion or bar stock simultaneously
with a final cut to length operation.
